Best cami or tank

Does anyone have recommendations for good cami’s or tanks for someone who is short waisted? I generally wear a tank or cami under almost everything I wear. Because I am short waisted they often are way too long. I also like to wear colorful cami’s under deep v-necks or blouses. Even if I order a small they often seem too long. Does anyone have a brand they like? Thanks for your help.

I like then long but if you don’t, you can buy cheap cotton knits at Target and cut the bottom off to the best length. I find that tee shirt type fabric does not ravel when cut. If you sew, you can add some lace to the bottom. Lace peaking out at the bottom can be cute.. I also wear a tank every day under my top. Nordstrom BP also has good inexpensive tanks and camies. The Rack usually has them too.

I know exactly what you mean. I am about 5 foot 1 or 5 foot 2 and most of them are far too long. I have a short black one from an NZ brand Scope, the brand has now gone so I can’t replace, and a short white one from an Australian brand Jacqui E from 2005 which is getting very tired but I cannot find another! So no help just sympathy.

I’ve found these from JJill fit really well, I’m also need a small scoop and/or V-neck and these actually fit well enough that i can (but usually don’t) wear them without layering on top...please note that i wear the petite sizes...I’m not sure on how the regular fit

Ditto to the Target ones (A new day). I wear them for sleeping and as bra strap covering camis. They don't ride up and have held up to a year or more of weekly washings.

I really love uniqlo’s heattech camisoles. I am short with a short torso and Find the vast majority of camisoles way, way too long. These are just perfect.

The Uniqlo airism camisoles are similarly nice and short but the neckline doesn’t work as well for me, ymmv

j Jill in the past...but...now, I get the tanks from Duluth trading co - I know, odd, but they truly do not ride up which is amazing and they wash well and wear well over time and are not too long which is a plus!

You could try petite sizes at Banana Republic and in the Halogen line at Nordstrom.

I have this problem as well. I have had success with the petite tanks from the Karen Scott brand at Macy's. Perfect under a blazer. Not too much under-arm or bra showing if you chose to wear alone. They make a nice background for pretty necklaces, and can also

be worn under a cardigan. I buy the petite cardigans from New York and company (size up). They don't have the long sleeves one out yet, so no link. Loft/Ann Taylor cropped cardigans also work well for me. Theirs do tend to pill, though.
