I have to think a moment when styling a soft plaid shirt — it can skew too country-casual with jeans. So today I paired the new Rails shirt with my new Vuori black pants (thanks to Angie’s rec!), my new black Adidas sneakers, and my much-worn favorite denim jacket. Tucking the shirt and pairing it with simple black trousers seems to make it a little more sophisticated while still casual.
It’s chilly today, so I’m taking along my ancient fuchsia cashmere scarf in case I get cold out and about. Silver jewelry and my handmade bag (purchased in a little shop in Colorado two years ago).
Not to be overlooked: my Prince socks, purchased during a long layover in the Minneapolis airport Prince store!
