Bernardo leather jackets

I feel like one of those promoters: "But wait, there is more!" I though I was done with the leather jackets but two more showed up at my house...

Both of these are Bernardo leather, the first one was one of Angie's NAS picks. They are cut very differently from the moto jackets I have tried so far. What do you think?

They are okay, but I don't think they are as good as the last round you tried. Open, they seem to look a lot like another jacket you did not like the looks of open.

I like the colour in number 1 better. Number 2 seems blotchy somehow in the pics. They are both a good basic style.

There is something about them that looks a bit stiff. Do they feel that way? It is sometimes so tough to tell from a photo.

I really empathize about this leather jacket search. I have pretty well given up for this year. I may try again next year.

They are not stiff, and the taupe/malt jacket is actually very nice - seems like good quality and has interesting details.

In any case, this confirms what I thought - I am pretty sure they both need to go back. I will probably not end up with a leather jacket this year, either, but I can certainly keep trying on more - it looks like it is not easy to find a leather jacket that is perfect so I might as well try on as many as I can.

Claire, this is the second year I am looking, too. But it's not like I really NEED a leather jacket, so I can be picky. I figured another nice jacket may always come along, or maybe I will happen to be in Canada and will check out Danier.

Be picky! I tried on a bunch before finding one that worked for me. Have you tried a dedicated leather shop in the US?

No, Sylvie, I haven't. The only one that comes to mind is Wilson's Leather, are there others?

Actually, I just realized that we have a leather goods store in the mall that I don't go to very often. I have never entered the store because it just seemed ... tacky? Nothing like what Danier Leather selection looks. But I should probably give it a try.
