I have been thinking about buying myself a wing collar coat.
I know I can wear it as a funnel neck too. The coat is not in my local stores here so I would need to order it online.

Do any of you ladies own one? If so what are your thoughts on the coat style?. I would like to have it for the days I just want to dress up a bit.

In the reviews of the coat, some removed the belt and loops. Depending on how the coat fit I may want to do that as well.

Having lost over 140 lbs in the past couple of years, I have about 30 more pounds to go. The weight loss was all done with healthy eating and walking. I also have a dropped foot which happened a couple of years ago. This was a Merry Christmas present. It happened the day before Christmas 2012. I am mentioning this because footwear is a difficult thing for me to find as I have to accommodate either the strap I have or my brace.

I do not have any recent pictures of myself . I did a couple of pictures of myself, a before and during my weight loss journey. The first one was at my heaviest weight taken in Nov of 2012. The other picture was taken on Valentines day 2014. I have lost another 50 lbs or so since that picture.

Picture 5 - me at my heaviest weight. That picture serves as a reminder of where I was. Each time I look at it, I feel ashamed and proud of myself now at the same time. A lot of mixed emotions on it.

Decsions Decisions..

If I decide to get the belted wing coat, I am leaning towards the Teal colour. I have blue eyes and I know the jewel tones look good on me. Not all teals but most look good. I however do think I should be getting a black one as it will be slimming and one can add a scarf for colour and I love scarves.

I do have a seal point mitted rag doll cat and the fur on the black coat may be a constant battle.

I have a waist now which is not noticeable in the valentine's day picture of me.

Should I hold out and wait to get either the Icebreaker or Ibex coat?

Both of those coats are Merino wool. They will never go on sale as neither company do that.

The winged collar coat I am lusting is a wool blend coat.

I am thinking I want it as it is a fashion piece. I currently do not own a cloth coat.

Maybe I should resist the urge to buy and wait for one of the ones I want. Save my money.

The wing collar coat is on sale for 50.00 which is why I think I am lusting. I also just received a late Christmas cash present yesterday which is 50.00. Plus I seen someone a couple of days ago wearing one and I thought oh nice.
