In the summer I find a simple white belt useful as I like to wear my shorts and pants a little on the looser side, and the white plays well with my summer white tops. My very old perforated white belt is now starting to fall apart, and it’s time for a new one. Example of how I wear it in pic 1, I had a jacket on most of the day too.
I’ve been keeping an eye out but there doesn’t seem to be much out there with my specs:
- Simple in style, and not too thin or thick — I think my old one is 1.5”
- Silver-toned buckle in a simple style — nothing bulky or overly wide and no logos.
- Leather that is nice quality and not stiff — I do not care for cheap stiff belts with rough edges. But I don’t want to spend a ton.
It figures that the best one I’ve seen so far is a Dries Van Noten and of course is priced accordingly! (Pic 2)
I’ve looked on Etsy but the quality seems such a crapshoot there.
Any suggestions?
