Our beloved Min lop rabbit passed away yesterday and we are indeed heartbroken.. She's been going to my son's college apartment this past year and had become quite a therapy bunny with girls knocking on his door to come play and snuggle with her. She was very much his buddy , following him everywhere , sleeping with him and even jumping up on his desk to hang out when he studied. I jokingly called her DH 's girlfriend because she would always greet him and demand his attention whenever he came home from work. We all feel so spoiled as she was truly the rabbit we all wanted our entire lives. Both DH and I had rabbits growing up and this was our 2nd with our children.. These pets of ours really do get into our hearts and add so much to our lives. My heart goes out to my son who is missing her presence in every moment as her bin is no longer taking up the space in his bedroom, she is no longer waiting outside the bathroom when he finishes his shower,etc. He actually had to clean up his room and remove anything white as his tshirt even caught his eye and tricked him.. Not a good thing for a college student in his Junior year of premed...
