Bellatrix shirt substitute, and a couple other tops-what do you think?

1-2 I have loved the Bellatrix tops on everyone else, but I hadn't been able to find one that worked for me. I had a $10 coupon for JCPennys and decided to see if I could find anything. I came home with this top, what do you think? I threw on my skinnies and a cami underneath.

3-4 This is the Halogen cowlneck button back sweater so many YFLr's have too. I had to wait for this color...

5-7 but in the meantime I found this Pleione shirt (paid full price after the sale, darn) but I really like the style and thought it would be a good transition piece for fall, found the scarf in 7 at Forever21.

All are very nice but I particularly like the first and third tops. The color of the third is great for transitioning to fall and it looks beautiful on you.

These are all lovely tops, but I *really* love the Pleione top on you - everything about it - the color, the drape, everything. I'd say it's worth the extra $$, as it's so perfect on you!

I really love the last top on you, it's gorgeous and looks like it fits perfectly! I am unsure for the other two; they both do look good, but they didn't make me say "oooooh" like the third one did when I opened the photo.

First of all, you look just amazing in those skinny's!! They are perfect for you!!
Love the last blouse, and that scarf is a great find with it. All of these pieces are lovely for you. That cowl neck sweater is so pretty on everyone else - I'm sad it didn't work for me!

Oh my, I also LOVE all the tops. That deep burgundy color in 2 and 3 are divine on you !
I can't pick a favorite......so they are all my favorite.

( I agree that you shouldn't worry about the extra expense because you just look so good. )

Thanks modgrl. I think the cowl neck sweater is a little tricky. I wasn't so sure if I liked it on me either, but I have such broad shoulders, and in theory this is something that is suppose to work, plus I'm tall, 5'9. You look more petite and that sweater could be overwhelming on someone smaller.

Oh Carole, the Pleione blouse and Halogen sweater are fabulous on you. Definitely worth the price of admission. Those colors are stunning on you.

Love the second and third one - those colors are gorgeous on you and with the scarf, it's a killer look. YAY!

I am going to go out on a limb and say I'm not a huge fan of the cap-like sleeves on the first blouse. I may just have a poison eye, though - since cap sleeves are my personal nemesis.

Una, I appreciate the compliments and constructive feedback. I have had mixed reviews on that first top, but I'm going to keep it. I can wear it under several jackets and that I have so I won't be flashing the cap sleeves around too much!

I know you feel like your shoulders are very broad, but they really, really don't look broad to me, Carole! Just had to toss that out there :).
