Has anyone tried this jacket? I'm tempted after today's blog post--especially since it is on sale (in the regular size.) TIA.

Thanks, Cathy! I knew I saw it on someone recently but couldn't remember who. Which color of the mixed media jacket? The cream? Ah, that one is gorgeous too. So many fun things out there that it is hard to narrow it down. I am just trying to find something different but that I can wear with what I have.

I got the size S in regular. The sleeves have a banded wrist so no problems with sleeve length on short me. It is a nice, loose fit.

I think the Regular M would work well on you and would deliver a loose fit.

Looking more closely, it fits me a lot like the model around the shoulders. It is longer on me however. I like the regular because I can wear it longer, or shorter by folding it under.

Thanks, Denise! I will order tomorrow. I knew that I saw and loved it on someone. Posts move so fast around here I couldn't remember who. I'm excited to try it and I'm happy to hear about the cuff on the sleeves for my t-Rex arms:) thanks for taking the time to answer my question. I really appreciate it.

I was looking at that one last night but I thought you were talking about a different one because the largest size they had was a small. I didn't think you had a shoulder reduction surgery--lol! I love the blue one too. JJsloane modeled that one and it looked fab on her. I just wasn't sure that it would play as well in my wardrobe as the black.

Oh fun, I could see you rocking that Kelly! I have concerns about this type of sleeve shape on my IT shoulders when the blocking is higher contrast; I ordered the Mural one with the floral sleeves for myself to try, but am skeptical about that darn sleeve shape. We'll see when it arrives. The all-dark would be fine though. Looking forward to seeing this on you.

I have this jacket! It's cute. It's longer on me than on the model (I got in a size L), and the shoulders of my jacket are slightly dropped, just like in the model pic. My 11-year old daughter loved it so much (and it was so cheap) that I just ordered one for her :). We have vowed not to wear them on the same day.

@Carole: Thanks! I’m excited too. It’s definitely something different for me.

@Aida: Thanks. I feel the same way about the contrast blocking but never really thought about why. I do think the v-neck will soften the look on you and Cathy. I can’t wait to see it. I do have reservations about the Hummingbird one but I decided to give it a try anyway. Now that I know that Jonesy has it, I am hopeful!

@Jonesy: How cool that DD likes it (and only 11!) My 11 year old isn’t that fashion forward--she’s happy with her hoodies. I do think my 14 year old will like it so she can just borrow it--that way we will never wear it on the same day
