I would like to wish Merry Christmas to everyone and all the very best!

I am sorry I was MIA for the past few days, I got a nasty stomach virus in the morning of 24th, and was sick as a dog for the past two days. I am getting better, though I am still on the extremely exciting diet of saltines and apple juice .

I hope everyone feels better soon. It should be against the law to be sick on Christmas. I think I almost made myself sick eating too many sweets.

Tanya, Marmite is a yeast spread similar to Vegemite. Sometimes I absolutely hate it and other times I just get a craving for it. Actually since Angie mentioned it I've wanted some on a piece of the fresh bread my mom baked...

Maya, that's exactly my relationship with marmite. Speaking of it, Angie, do you go to the Crumpet Shop? That's where I tried it for the first time.

Angie, thanks for reminding me about marmite. I've been craving something simple like this, I'm going to check the cupboard tomorrow Now I need to find some good bread.

I grew up with marmite spread on pumpernickel (a very dense German bread). Divine toasted with cheese, or marmite. Anyway, it’s good for the tum tum along with a glass of flat coke.

Course I’ve been to the crumpet shop, Marianne! Much prefer a scone with jam and butter with my cuppa though

Hope you get better soon Tanya!! Vegemite has way more healing properties than either Marmite or Promite does I am sure

Cheese + tomato + vegemite is a magical combination! or vegemite + avocado. Yum - making me hungry!!!
