Before the Una boot, I had these in my cart - what do you think?

The Luxury Rebel boot is still up in the air, since Angie doesn't feel they are the most flattering on me.

I don't necessarily have to choose one, the other, or either one of these boots, but I wanted to go back and get an opinion on these, since I'd been considering them for a while. I was thinking that they look sleek enough for a regular office day. The shaft height and adjustable calf seem like they would work for me.

My questions:
Too dressy for weekends?
A good crossover for winter/spring?
Does the sweater gusset in the back make them winter-only to your eye?

These are beautiful Rae - and to my eye, possibly more versatile. But will they work with your current wardrobe in the way you want? As for the sweater gusset, I think it's small enough to not read winter only.

I love them but I think the gusset makes them more casual and not really office-y material, but only you can properly judge your work culture.

What are other people wearing to the office this time of year? The holidays are usually a more relaxed time. Do you think you could get away with something like this in your office now?

Oh, there is no question about the office. One woman regularly wears OTK boots, and plenty of others dress more casually than me in general. Our department gets a bit of special treatment in that regard, which I am excited to take advantage of.

I guess it's good they read casual to you, since that means I can probably dress them down.

I like the sleek look of these! From what I've seen, they would be fine for your workplace. To your questions:

BJ, I did have boots a similar color, but I ended up passing them on due to arch issues and the fact that I could still resell for more than I paid for them. These would be to replace those, actually.

OMG they are fab! Not to dressy, not to casual, sleek tall and lovely. I had a similar pair I wore to death a while ago. And love the wedge heel.

I promise that booties are next on the agenda for Spring. I like them in theory, but haven't fallen in love with any yet - guess that means I have to try harder.

I think they look very office appropriate--they're dressy for you, but you could certainly dress them down for weekends. I love the color and the sleekness. I'm not sure about the sweater gusset for summer in LA, but they should be fine for spring and fall at least. Do you even wear boots in the middle of August?
