Ha! Just realized, me who never goes anywhere, has reason to do a WTW post! Tomorrow night DH and I are driving over to Prince Edward Island for a "culinary and musical event" part of their Sept tourism initiative. It will be held in an arena I think (for space) but here are several courses prepared by a fancy chef interspersed with live blues music.

He will pick me up from work and we'll drive over together, spend the night in a hotel and back the next day. I had planned on finally pulling out my red skinny jeans for Sat (it has cooled down enough) and doing my Parisienne thing with a Breton T, leater jacket and y black-and-grey tartan high top sneakers. But what to wear for the Fri night shindig?

I will be doing an ER shift that day, but I will have time to shower and changeif I want. DH will probably wear a sport coat. (By which I mean, tweed tailored jacket)

Jeans? semibombshell with a pencil skirt? my black pleated maxi skirt with a fisherman sweater (I had that outfit on hold for Sun. afternoon when I and my guitar have been asked to be a "strolling minstrel" for our church's anniversary celebration picnic, but I could wear it both times)?

I usually wear flats or low heels when it's just the 2 of us, as he only has an inch on me and comments if I wear high heels.

Ha. I did Angie's graphic T and pencil skirt formula when we went to the movies once--I could do that, with my T that has a map of the local places we sail to (this is in a town we could reach bu boat, but only if we took the day off work!). That combo would probably work in the ER as well (I'll change if I expect blood!)
