Or I'm just too tired to think about it anymore!

Part 1, pics 1-3:
Accessories for the dress to be worn to a casual outdoor wedding on Cape Cod this weekend, with a clambake reception. Pic 1 has a bracelet watch, necklace, and earrings. Too much? Leave on some of that? Pic 2 is just a bracelet with the clutch.

Part 2, pics 4-9:
A topper. Do any of these work? Pic 4 doesn't really show the true colors - the dress has cream/off white stripes and the jacket is white. Is it OK to wear a white jacket/cream dress? I wish the jacket was cream! I think the black in #5 and #6 might be too dark. Pic 7 is a purple cardi I had in my closet. I'll be changing for the reception anyway, so hopefully the topper won't be on too long if at all.

Again, apologies for the awful hair and facial expressions - it's been a long day.

Edit: The BCBG, but I don't think the colors work well together, and another beige jacket.

And, btw, the more I look at the dress, the more I am noticing the stripes are not gray/cream as I originally thought, they are a light navy/cream.

White topper for sure! I am not sure if it is too casual for the wedding though. What about the BCBG jacket, the second one you got - is it cropped enough for the dress?
I like both bag options and I would go with either cuff or earrings - slight preference for the cuff.
Lovely and fun dress and clambake sounds delish!

Sveta, the wedding is very casual, so I don't think the white jacket is too casual at all. I didn't try the BCBG, I didn't think it would work, I thought it would compete with the dress too much. I'll give it a try on now.

Suz, I'm thinking complete change. I am probably going to change into the outfit I wore to the Boston meetup!

Mellllls, I think the wedding is casual enough and the jacket is a cropped very lightweight denim so in my mind it's OK. I wouldn't do it if it was a dressy blazer, My mother-in-law is bringing her white sweater to wear at the reception.

My main concern is that the jacket is white and the dress is cream. Is white with cream OK?

karie, you look fantastic! I would pick #2 for accessories and #5 for topper. I don't think is too dark. I am new to YLF so I cannot explain why exactly this combination looks the best to me but it does

I had to laugh at the title. Glad you got the dress. It's wonderful. As for pairings, Mo can't dress herself either these days so ????

Love the varying gradations of white/cream/gray with the white denim jacket. My personal preference is for the orange clutch with the cuff. See? Karie *can* dress herself wonderfully!

Ooooh the jacket in #8 also works wonderfully. I now vote EITHER the white or that one, still the lime clutch, and still no necklace.

Mix those whites with confidence!
I like BCBG jacket too but it is dressier. So it is up to you how dressy or casual you want to go - white denim or BCBG.
On accessories I agree with Aida - lime modern clutch and no necklace.

Do you need a topper? I like #1 best then #2, no topper. As another thought, if the dress is really blue, do you have a blue denim jacket that's not over-sized? Very cute with either jewelry and clutch.

White and bone bathrooms are considered very lux, lol! The white denim jacket looks best, too, I think. As for the accessories, I'm still learning.

Alana, yes! I'll go with that - white and cream is very lux.

Carter, I have the distressed AE denim jacket that's not what I would call oversized - it's much heavier than the white one (but not cropped) and I'll bring it with me in case I don't change for the reception, I can just pop that on.

Suz, the reception is not at the beach - close to it, but in the bride's family's backyard. I'm thinking I'll not wear the burgundy moto after all - maybe my Mural bomber or the denim jacket. Seems more "clambake" friendly, plus either of those choices will go with the clutches, and the burgundy moto won't.

I'm another vote for the white jacket. The proportions are great and Angie has shown us I think that creams and whites can be lovely together. Either clutch would work as well. I really like the dress on you!

Oh, heavens to murgatroyd, I'm keeping both clutches. I am so weak in these late hours! The orange one matches perfectly with the belt on my other dress (white with big black polka dots and an orange belt) and the lime green one I just plain love the color. The tags are off. A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do (and right now this girl's gotta go get some sleep!).

I saw the photos only before reading. I love both clutches and the white jacket. The black ones are too stark against everything, so is the other dark one, no.8 clashes with the strong geometry of the bold stripes and no.9 has left me unexcited.

My vote would be white jacket + green clutch.

Karie, I don't know if I am too late, but the jacket in #8 is fab with the dress. To my eye it tones beautifully with the dress. The dress is quite special and the other toppers are just not quite up to it. If you go with this jacket then I feel the accessories need to be at a minimum. I quite like the idea of the lime clutch and the necklace pictured with it, with the jacket in #8. Can I encourage you not to over think it and trust yourself...you have a great eye for what works xxx

I like the topper in nr 8 the best with this dress(for a wedding)! Add the lime clutch and it's perfect!

I really like the contrast of the green bag in #1 -- I also like the coral bag in #2 with the soft gray stripes in the dress. I am not sold on any of the toppers either because of cut or color.

However if you must wear one of these toppers, I think the fit of the black bolero sweater in #6 paired with the purse from either 1 or 2 would look perfect.

I also think since it's very casual wedding you could dig up a blue denim jacket (with the same fit as #4) if your arms got cool, pop the collar and pair with the lime clutch for the wedding as well. (I am indeed partial to lime especially paired with blue -- I think it would be a fabulous contrast and evoke just the right level of relaxed polished).

Karie, everything looks great, but I don't like number 7. The cropped toppers look way better with this dress.
