Beauty school color

So I'm due for a touch up of my color this month. Problem is Christmas shopping and that last minute trip to Whistler took a huge chunk of my budget. I normally get a two color partial foil. There is an advanced training school in Seattle. Should I risk going there or just deal with roots till January?

My daughter is the lead instructor at a beauty school...be sure you have an instructor involved from the begining..she/he will instruct and oversee the student:) You should be OK as long as you speak directly to an instructor from the get go:)

One thing to consider is that it may take a lot longer---that was the case with my friend who got a great haircut, but it took a long time because the student was being v-e-r-y cautious. A supervisor did stop by several times, and the cut looked fantastic.

How picky are you? I'm not touchy about my hair color, but if you are particular, I would wait.

GOOD point Isis!
Don't be in a hurry...allow plenty of time:) Students take longer because they must often wait for( a very busy) instructor to check with before they proceed to the next step.

When I was in grad school, I regularly went to the Aveda Institute for cuts and colors, and they always did a good job. I'm sure that it depends on the particular place, but I was very satisfied with the job that they did, and it was a LOT cheaper.
