I've been wanting to do a new one of these for months, but I kept feeling like I needed to go back and review everything I've tried since I last posted, which is never going to happen. So, here's a 'done is better than perfect' quick list of stuff I've tried that comes to mind. Please add your own thoughts and reviews.

Good Molecules - new line available from Beautylish, kinda along the lines of The Ordinary. I tried the Niacinamide toner and the Instant Cleansing Balm, both of which I love. Before the latter I'd prefered cleansing oils but this balm has changed my mind. Both really good and a good value, and I want to try more from this line.

Colourpop Super Shock Cheek in Birthday Suit - Ulta now has some Colourpop stuff and this blush looked right down my alley. It's a great color for me, a rosy pink. I'm not sure what I think of the super shock formula, which is not a straight powder, but one with some creaminess/moisture to it, but not a cream either. It's not bad, but I don't see what it adds, either. Maybe in eyeshadow it's more of an advantage?

Elf Poreless Putty Primer - this is supposed to be a dupe to the Tatcha primer putty, which I haven't tried. I like it and it does seem to help blur some pores without causing breakouts, which most silicone primers do on me.

Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream in 21 - so bummed this breaks me out, because the formula is nice and the color is pretty good. I'm still looking for an all-in-one sunscreen and tinted moisturizer for lazy days.

L'oreal Magic Root Cover Up - a new category for me (ah, getting older). This is a spray and I think it's fairly decent. It will stain your skin or hands if you get it on right away, but once it sets it stays put. It does make your hair feel a tad gunky, but if you only use it on your part and/or hairline it's not a big deal.

Revlon Candid Glow foundation - I just picked this up a couple days ago but so far I love it. The Revlon Candid original was the only success from my many tries in drugstore foundations last fall, but it was a bit heavy for me unless I cut it with moisturizer. This one's lighter in coverage and less matte. It doesn't stay for 12+ hours like the YouTube gurus seem to expect, but I'll take that tradeoff for a more natural look that requires less effort.
