I’m all excited about this app I just heard about on IG & downloaded in the App Store. It’s called Be My Eyes. There are over 300k blind people and nearly 4.8 mil volunteers. When one of the blind people needs help with a little thing, like figuring out which carton is the almond milk or which top is the one they want, they use the app. It notifies multiple volunteers, and the first person to pick up the call uses video transmitted to them (1-way video, 2-way audio) to help the person complete the task. I signed up for English & German. Haven’t taken my first call yet.

NB there is another app with this name which has you help Nestle move its products.
