Bay Area Swap 1/22/11

Happy Monday Ladies!

So here's the deal: I had agreed to host the swap this weekend and have sent out emails, but so far only Kate has shown interest in attending. Considering the low response rate, I'm debating cancelling the swap. I'd love to meet Kate but I think we might need a few more people (no offense, Kate!)

So if you're in or around San Jose this Saturday, and would like to spend a couple hours swapping...please comment on this thread so we can get this moving
On the other hand, if I don't get responses, I think we should defer the swap to another time that perhaps works better for more people? Thoughts?

Oh dear--I missed the news about this one. So sorry. I would like to know more. It depends on how my husband does.

MsMaven: You haven't missed much at all. I live in San Jose (near Curtner and Monterey Hwy). I haven't set up a time yet, but I was thinking late morning (maybe 10am -12pm)....it would depend on what works best for everyone attending. I figure we can PM the details, or start another thread for specifics; I just wanted to get a final list of attendees so I can know whether to go through with it or not.

I doubt it Srujana, but I wouldn't want to discourage you from organizing a swap that I have no business passing judgment on.

Whoops, I'd missed any previous discussion of this - love the idea, but I just donated several bags of clothes to charity so I don't think I would have anything good to swap. I would love to participate in the future, though.

Hi Srujana! I had a conflict but now I'm free. The down side is I had dropped my bags off at the Salvation Army a few days before your email. I'd love to visit if the swap takes place : )

Ok, if I'm counting right, so far we have Kate (who's going to bring a few friends), MsMaven, and myself....and hopefully Kelly and Laura will come say hi Anyone else?

Can we PM multiple people at once? I don't see that option but perhaps I'm missing it..in any case, I'll either PM or email you all with details today. I'm excited!

Unfortunately, I'm still a maybe. My husband is going to have to undergo another ERCP soon. (Normally an outpatient procedure, but he's had complications.) I'll know by late afternoon when it will be scheduled. I am looking forward to the swap, so I do hope I can be there.
