Baukjen has been a good brand for me and I have these two items from their sale.

I like the blue dress (but not sure I need it) - I like the simplicity of the cut and that it will go with denim jacket and also blazers. It looks good with my blush pink chore jacket and also has pale blue so goes with a Boden bag.

I also like the jacket but I am not quite so sure of it. I feel I could do better, but I like the length (although is it too long?) and the neatness of the fit.

I would be grateful for your thoughts.

I love the dress on you,would it be a useful addition to your wardrobe?I m not so taken with the jacket it looks a little big for you.

love the blazer....looks fab as you've styled it....i'm also imagining it over a column midi dress (or top and midi skirt in a column of color)...and with a pair of jeans....i like the idea of the dress, have you tried it with a jacket? did the neck and sleeve work ok when layered?

The dress looks more casual than your usual work clothes? Is it for work? I wonder about how that neck would sit with a jacket over?
It looks gorgeous I’m just worried about the layering situation.
The blazer looks more your usual work style and not too long, I like it.

Love the dress on you. Like others my only question is if you would wear it to work? If so I say yes. It would be a work dress for me or a Christmas Day dress etc or even family lunch.

I like the jacket too.

Both pieces look wonderful on you. The blazer looks right on trend and the dress has that WOW factor. You may be sorry if you pass it up as it can fit so seamlessly into your wardrobe.

I ADORE the dress on you, Jane. In fact, I want one. It's gorgeous.

To me it seems like a great crossover dress. Would work casually with the chore jacket/ denim jacket but could also work for a more casual work day with a dressier jacket. And then out for dinner on a hot evening.

Jacket looks spectacular, too. I don't know this brand but obviously I ought to!

Thank you CardiffGirl; good question - I think it spans between home and work well and is in blue hue, so fits in. Jacket, ahh, okay, thank you.

KKards, thank you, I think the blazer may work best with trousers, but a column dress would work too. And with jeans would be great. Yes, the neck of the dress was good with a jacket and the sleeves fitted well, so it felt easy.

Thank you Jenni, it is a bit more casual but I thought with a wide navy belt and blazer it can be dressed up. Thank you for the reassurance on the jacket length.

Love the dress on you! The jacket's fit buttoned looks a bit off in this photo but that is just one angle. I do like the length.

Both are fantastic on you. I hope you keep them. The dress is especially pretty on you--the shape and cut of it, the large checked pattern, the neckline all are so flattering and fun. I think the dress looks very versatile, too, especially since you have both casual and business style jackets that will give it different looks.

I love the dress, but not so enamoured with the jacket. I have a hard time liking grey jackets, having worn them too much myself in the early 2000’s.
