Battle of the white jeans - help

Here are 3 pair of white jeans to compare and contrast lol. One skinny (Big Star), straight leg (Lucky), and BF (True Religion). I could keep up to 2 pair but was looking for 'the one'. Any faves, and if you could share why, it would be helpful. I think I've decided, and then I change my mind again. Sigh.
I thought it might be best to compare similar views, so I did fronts of all 3, then back, then side. Skinny, then straight, then BF. And they are all about the same price, so that's not a factor. Last set of pics is of the straights with flats and heels to test the length. (one other note, the camera being about knee high may be skewing the upper thigh proportion, and making somewhat flat butt also, but oh well)

I like the second pair (the straights). The fit is good and they look the most opaque of the three pairs. I think the skinnies fit well too, but the front pocket show-through bothers me. I have poison eye for pocket/seam showthrough though so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

I do not like the BFs. They look like painter's pants to me, particularly because the fabric looks oddly thin and not very denimy.

What Diana said, with same caveats. I'd personally love me a pair of painters pants right now, if they were in heavy opaque denim, but in your case it would be a pity to hide your figure that way.

I like #2---no pocket show through and I prefer straights to skinnies in white denim. They look great on you!

I like the skinnies and the straights. Both fit well and are flattering. I like that the straights are opaque, but I prefer the pocket placement of the skinnies in the rear view. To me, the skinnies are a bit dressier and the straights just a tad more relaxed, so could serve different purposes. I'm not a fan of the distressing on the BF jeans - the patching looks contrived somehow.

I vote for #2. Don't like the pocket show through of #1. #3 is cute but doesn't highlight your figure as much as the others. But then, the boyfriends might be more comfortable in very hot weather.

I prefer the skinnies. They seem to fit you like a dream. I didn't even notice the pockets.

I like #2 (straight leg)the best followed by the BF style. I think both would be versatile.

Oh, I really like the skinnies. Wish I could find myself a pair that fit like that! The pocket show through doesn't bother me because just the sides show a tiny bit, not the whole pocket. And I think the skinny leg would look more sleek with flats, which I remember you are wearing much more of these days/

I am leaning towards the skinnies. When I got the straights I was very happy and thought I might keep them . . . until the skinnies arrived. The pair I am replacing are straights, so perhaps wanting to change it up a little is at play in the back of my mind. But it is so close and I keep waffling. Argh.

You little enabler, you! I think they're a bit too similar to keep both. Maybe if one choice had been the BF, which are quite different, I could justify keeping 2.

Okay, I have another idea. Keep the straights (which look amazing on you!!) I like that they are more opaque.

And then get the cream BR skinnies.

In all seriousness, either the skinnies or the straights look like winners to me. Is either more comfortable?

I like the straights. I think they give you a slimmer, sleeker look from the front and a better shape in the rear view than the skinnies.

One thing I like about #2 is the way the rise fits. That is key, no?

Suz, the rise is same in inches on all 3 pair, but most comfortable, as far as fabrication, in the skinnies. Maybe TMI, but there seems to be a knot of seams joining in the straights that might make taking them on the bike a total no-go.
That said, I do care about the rear view, being a team of riveting rearsiders I am right now wearing the skinnies around the house to see if/what changes occur if they loosen with wear.

I liks the straights. The skinniest are too high- rise. You can flat out wear them, as I never will be able, but they look a little retro to me, in the white. Like you should have on a shirt knotted at the waist.

I actually like the BF's a bit, too, but I don't think they are YOUR. BF's. you could wear a more fitted version with just a hint of BF.

I like 2 and 3 best. They all are not bad, but 1 looks a smigde tighter than 2. 3 has a great souchy fit to it which is different enough to own two white pairs in my book. I think you will need to remove the pockets in these though, in the front, because as with most white jeans, you see them. Great find, my one pair of white bootcuts, I had ordered about a dozen from Zappos and only had one that worked!

I think the straights look best on you. But I guess the other issue to consider is what you will be wearing them with and whether one of the pairs works better with the outfits you are planning to create.

Rae accurately called me out on wearing flats most of the time. I do want to wear high boots as well with them tucked in.

Thanks everyone sooo much for the input. It helps tremendously to 'see' through other people's eyes. For now I'm leaning toward the Big Star skinnies but will wear them all afternoon and reassess fit for any stretching out.

At first I could not determine difference between 1 and 2, but stepping back I slightly prefer 2. Of course as wearer you must have final say.
