Battle of the Black Leather Jackets (in June!)

My black leather jacket competition is in its final round (I hope!): Michael Kors VS. Joe's Jeans. (I'll try to keep my leanings out of it for now

Do you think I will wear my jacket zipped closed very much?? I rather prefer the look open. . . and can't decide how much this would be outerwear vs. a blazer. . .

I swooned when I opened the Joes jeans pic. You look like a Bond girl in that jacket. I definitley vote for that one over the first. I never wear my jackets closed.

Oooh, the Joe's jeans one no doubt. I find that I wear a somewhat similar grey leather one I have with zipper so much more often open (unzipped) then closed. And it did stretch.

I agree- the Joe's is a much cheekier fit. I never close my jackets. If it's really that cold, I will put a coat over it.

I like the MK...just looks a bit more polished overall to me. Zippered design a bit more tasteful.... But both are fab which ever you decide you like best.:)

I am slightly biased here . I have a zippered Mk leather jacket I bought a couple years ago....It is impeccable and beautifully crafted!!

Tough call because they are both gorgeous jackets and fit you well. I prefer the length of #2 though - assuming you will wear it over dresses??

I haven't read the comments - as I don't with polls like this. But the longer one is fab with pants and the shorter one is fab over dresses and with skirts. Which to you envisage wearing more of?

That's a good consideration as I have been adding more and more frocks and short frock/tunics (with leggings) to my closet.

BUT, I have also been adding skinny jeans galore (there are lots of premium denim 'steals' out there lately). So there won't be any shortage of pants come cooler weather.

I got the Michael Kors a few weeks ago and have been waiting to compare it with the Joe's (which arrived today).

I DO have four pleather jackets -- that just what my appetite for real leather!

They are both beautiful jackets. I can't say which one you should keep but I do like the texture on the sides of #2. It's a tough call. Do you feel one fits better than the other?

I'm with Taylor preferring the MK jacket. It looks more classic and better quality in the photos.

I have the MK and love it! It is actually a fitted silhouette, isn't it? I also love the gold antique hardware. The leather is beautiful.
The other is very cute and could be worn with dresses. I vote MK.
