This morning our cat Batman was hit by a car and died instantly. She (yes Batman is a girl) was 12 1/2 years old and a lovely cat whom all the neighbours loved as she hung out at our gate and made lots of friends.
A kind neighbour saw it happen - I arrived home 5 minutes later. We buried her in our yard.
Batman had a sister Mouse who we had to put to sleep 1.5 years ago after ongoing gum disease..... Mouse was a very antisocial cat who didn't really like people. Batman was the opposite and loved snuggling and hanging around with the family.
She snuck into my WIW pic last night......We are all very sad here.
