Bathing suit cover up

I really like the one at Macy's that you linked to. That would look great over your suits, and it is easy with the tie at back of neck. Did you notice that it is hand wash? That makes me a little leary. It is a great style and not to cutsey like a lot of them are.

Do you wear fuchsia well? I can see that over both of the suit colors you mentioned, but I'm having trouble picturing you in that color for some reason.

Great post, Patience. I am in need of a coverup as well. Personally, I prefer the coverup to show my bathing suit underneath, so that it's obvious I'm wearing it as a coverup, and not as a dress by itself. Is this wise? Should I be looking for more coverage?

We just got a pool for the kids, and I've been spending a lot of time in my back yard, which for the most part is private. Yet I tend to hang out in my shorts and tank top because I don't feel comfortable spending all my time in a bathing suit. A cover up would encourage me to wear the suit in my own back yard a little bit more.

What should I look for? I'm so self conscious about my boobs, esp in a bathing suit. I don't want to draw any more attention to them then the attention that's already there.

I've seen some that look like shirts, sort of like this one:

I also saw some at J Crew on sale that looked like sleeveless shift dresses or tunics but I don't see them on the site. The neckline was fairly high, like a regular dress. Perhaps something like that would work?

This one is also great, especially in black and white. The empire line is quite low and loose, (it’s a drawstring), and I’ve had this on a few well endowed clients and it worked. You could also leave it untied. It’s a really pretty soft cotton that looks just as great wrinkled. If they don’t have your size, you could look for something similar.

I forgot you were a micro print girl. And a NEW micro print girl at that. I keep on pushing that envelope.

The option you’ve selected could work. Shorten the sleeves perhaps? I hope the empire cut sits below the bust. What do you think?

Yellow was my top choice too, but I'm always a little nervous about the particular shade. Anyway, it was pretty cheap so I ordered it and we shall see. Ideally, I'd like a white, dress-style cover up with no gathered seams. So I will continue to keep an eye out.
