I got the circle one as well after hearing people rave about them for years! Now that I think about it, I guess the arms were a bit narrow, I figured it was b/c I had sized down. I decided to keep it, it didn't overwhelm me like other big cardigans sometimes do. I don't have strong opinions on whether it's flatter on me or not, it's just for around the house, but I love it and wore it all winter. It's washed well (gentle + line dry)
