What a horrific event. My best friend from college lives in Barcelona and I was very relieved to learn that both her and her family are safe.

This was terrible news. We have been to Barcelona and walked on Las Ramblas, such a beautiful spot. I hate to see this happen.

Hate feeds on hate - it feels like the spiritual energy in this world is shifting in horrible ways.
In a strange coincidence, in the past 18 months I have walked the very streets in Barcelona and Charlottesville where these dreadful attacks occurred. The freshness of my memories of these beautiful places where people gather to relax and enjoy themselves, just amplifies the pictures in my mind of these horrendous acts of violence.
