Pens, coins, rocks, pocket knives and once a nickel somehow managed to break the Interior plastic water container of our stainless steel drum washer. No kidding! We have no idea how it got through the stainless steel drum to the water container?? The holes in the drum are tiny, too small for a nickel to fit through, but the repairman showed us the nickel sitting inside the cracked container. It got there somehow! He said it's a common occurrence with front loading machines. Fortunately, it was under warranty. It made a huge wet mess everywhere. It didn't ruin clothes but it ruined my floor and the wood trim, and water leaked down to the basement. You would think that would make everyone more diligent about emptying their pockets right? Wrong! I still find all the same stuff. Kleenex, yes. And somehow safety pins. I have no idea where those are coming from? I'm guessing my DS, so now that he's away at college I'm waiting to see if they still appear. Seriously, bad memories here......
