I'm going to take a middle line. For the past two seasons, I loved the way a lot of the clothes looked. That is, I loved them in the images online. I loved them in theory.
But something would always be off for me. If I liked the fit and cut of the item, it wasn't available in a colour that would work for me. Or else the fabrication was off somehow. Culottes that looked great in the photo but turned out to be made of non drapey material. Etc.
I did get some typical staple items (Sloan trousers). But other than that, I don't think I bought a single item from BR all spring and summer -- and that, for me, is highly unusual.
However, some of this had to do with the fact that I am not in wardrobe building phase so much as maintenance, and I still have some serviceable BR items from years past.
