Just putting out feelers

I know Janet and others live in the Baltimore area. I am wondering if any of you have any idea how suitable it might be for a senior to relocate there?

I know a few people there and have not mentioned this to them yet.

Hi bridgie! Where do you live currently? I love the city and think it can be a great place to live, but would definitely favor certain areas over others. There are some beautiful neighborhoods. If you want to PM me with more specifics of what you'd be looking for, I'll be happy to chat more.

Janet Thank you. I am going to take you up on the kind offer, but will be just a little later. I currently live in Catawaba County in western North Carolina. Before here, I lived in Jacksonville, Fla for 20 years.

Look into the Village of Cross Keys. I have some family friends who are a senior couple who live there. They appreciate the ease of the amenities in the Village. Especially if you are not familiar with the area, the village is gated, and you will feel extremely safe in this affluent part of town.

One thing I will add, that many people don't really know, is that Baltimore is a friendly city of neighborhoods, and people of all ages who move here from elsewhere tend to remark on how quickly they connect with people here. I guess we are just enough "southern" to have that level of hospitality!

My parents live in a condo building in Roland Park, Janet. There are only a few so it could be the same one especially if it's on Roland
