If you saw my post about what to wear for the mayoral inaugural ball, here are pics of my glam ball gown from 9 years ago. Clearly I’m up a size from then, but hubs is begging me to wear this on Monday night. It needs a good clean and steaming — I think my cleaner could rush it. I definitely can’t shrink into wallflower mode wearing this. It’s a lot of look. And not much good for dancing, or walking, or much of anything except for standing around looking fab. I’m wearing my Rockstuds under this, and that heel height seems to work for the length of the dress. I kinda wish it didn’t have the train — I step on it when walking.
