They are both fab. I really like that Rebecca Minkoff style and have admired it many of the colors. Fortunately, it's not a good size for me, so I'm not overly tempted!

I'm angling for a discount code on the RM bag somehow. I like the chain strap.

There's a CHANEL with this kind of look for about 25x this price... Yikes!

How would you describe this bag and what about it says it's my style (aside from the oil slick/iridescent obsession) - I'm just curious because it seems pretty polished to me.

I blame Natalie for sending me down a rabbit hole with those iridescent Tieks she posted! Still dying over them.

Una, I think the Chanel influence is what I really like about that RM bag, too. I like the chain. But perhaps even more I like the twist she adds to that classic Chanel look, with the swivel clip! Love that detail. I have it on the backpack I got at NAS last year, and it makes me smile inside every time I see it. Oh, and the studs on the bottom, which are reminiscent of the Alexander Wang Rocky bags. Perhaps the swivel clip and studs on the bottom of the bag are a large part of the draw for you, too.

IMO Una, the RM chain looks chunky and combined with the long tassels gives a biker edge to the ladylike bag, it's like someone crossed a baby Chanel with a Balenciaga Lariet and left it in an oily puddle in the garage.

The bag is neat but not prissy.

Anyone else wonder if that's a coating that might wear off? I bought a Fossil wallet with gold hardware and the finish is coming off in some areas.
