bag mishap buying

Hello all. I am new to this site in all ways bags, clothes and foot wear.
I am short, fat and older person.. that's it in a nut shell.

So my fist question is on bags, just made a big blunder with coach, had a bag on order which was taking forever and not hearing anything off coach. went to local store to look at said bag, wasn't as pictured online alas had hubby with me big mistake....

Although the assistant said it was none returnable I still bough it, why I have no idea 2 months of isolation maybe who knows? Maybe hubby saying get it!!
Anyway, when I got back home and played a little with the bag I quickly realised not for me and to add insult to injury the bag I had ordered miraculously arrived two days later and I would have known it was not white but cream coloured. gutted.

Any advice on what I can do please..

That sounds frustrating.

I agree with Toban -- maybe you can sell it or if you have a friend who would truly enjoy it, give it away as a gift.

We all make shopping mistakes from time to time, and bags are tricky; it can take a while to figure out what truly works for each person.

This site is really wonderful for helping us to reduce shopping mistakes. Again, it's a process of learning...but over time, you'll make fewer errors and forgive yourself a bit more easily for the ones you do make.

First off. You are not alone. Every single one of us has made buying mistakes. It is a brave woman that admits those mistakes and asks for help.

Coach makes a beautiful bag but I understand that the bags in question might not be "you." That's fine. We will work to rectify the situation.

Do I understand you are in possession of two Coach bags? Neither of the bags is refundable?

If they are non-refundable. Selling or gifting them is an option.

Ditto what others have said already, and welcome to the forum. I wonder if you might ask about returning for store credit, rather than a refund. Sometimes that can be an option. Then you could take your time and and find a bag or other item that would suit you better.

Welcome to the forum. This sounds like something I would do, especially after the stress of the last few months. I hope you can get a store credit, as Coach make beautiful bags.

I wonder if you may grow to like them, that has happened to me, something that I was unsure of, can actually work out quite well. If you try styling the cream bag in the way you would wear a white bag, you may be surprised at how harmonious it looks. The cream colour may be a bit softer and therefore more versatile that a pure optic white.
