I was just wondering about the old adage that hard times bring longer skirts, whereas better economic times signal the return of the mini, or at least shorter skirts. Could it be possible that this return of the midi length is due to the worldwide economic crisis?

What do you all think? Crazy coincidence? Any truth to the saying?
