Hmm, I'm with Rachylou in not feeling the styling so much--but the items themselves could be interesting. This time around, I think I'll forego fringe, headbands, peace signs, tie-dye, tall moccasin-style boots, macrame vests, cutesy prints, boho caftans with beads, suede halter, and floppy leather hats. But the thought of a brown suede jacket does sound appealing, especially paired with bootcut pant. Small doses for the second time around for me, but a smile when I see the full regalia on someone younger having as much fun with this look as I did.
ETA: Now those looks that Angie just pinned are a totally different story--I'd have called them the sleeker, modern side of the 70s instead of Glam, which had more of a disco vibe, in my recollections. Angie's pins were my seventies look--and I'd feel right at home wearing any of those outfits.
My only pause comes from remembering how some of my mother's friends looked when they chose to emulate us in wearing these outfits... I can remember being baffled at their wanting to give up their sophisticated, elegant dresses and suits to look like us, when we yearned to look as adult and confident as they did in their outfits.
