As much as I want to like the Laura Geller foundation makeup I bought, my face has been itching since starting to use it. I'm going back to Jane Iredale, except the Amazing Base foundation instead of the PurePressed Base foundation. The PurePressed base foundation feels dry to me, and I used the Amazing Base for years. The only reason I ever switched was because I got tired of dealing with loose powder. Still, that foundation is fantastic and well worth the $. I took the plunge and ordered the Dream Tint moisturizer to use underneath to provide more coverage. I want to try, once more, to cover the splotchy hyperpigmentation on my face and neck.

Well, have to say Jane Iredale is my choice these days for what little I wear. Also discovered my neighbor uses it too. We ran into each other at the Jane Iredale counter.

I agree that the PurePressed foundations can be a little drying. I use that foundation only in the summer. I've not tried their loose mineral powders. I'm nearing the end of my PurePressed foundation so will try the loose powder next.

Make sure to use a primer or moisturizer first. The loose minerals don't adhere well to bare skin.

I like their products too. The pressed powder is a little more sheer than I like so I prefer the bb cream. I haven't tried the amazing base. I was so fortunate that there was a product trainer in from LA the day I went to purchase. I felt much more confident about the color match thanks to his expertise.

Yes, getting the color right usually requires help. They sent me some free samples to try, which really helped.
