Back to basics - 7 jeans for swapping

So last weekend I stumbled across a pair of Levi's skinnies that didn't make me feel like a sausage. They fit well allover, and the price was right too: $20.

I forgot how much I love Levi's.

I got them, and that made me re-evaluate another pair of jeans that I bought in January, at full price to make things more disappointing. They are going to have to leave my closet because we have not been getting along.

So here is the scoop. They are 7 For Mankind Ginger model size 30 with 30" inseam. Since I lost some weight, they are kind of bagging in all the wrong places, they do bleed so beware, but they are in great condition. I have not photographed them yet, but I can do if you are interested.

If anyone is interested in a swap, please let me know at after5blog[at]gmail[dot]com. What am I looking for? Skirts, blouses, pants... or anything else you are looking to swap.

I completely forgot to mention my current size (thanks, Maya!). I currently wear size 6, and I am working my way toward a 4. I have very small chest but somewhat broad shoulders, and my thighs are prominent (blubber and muscle fighting for dominance).

Those are great jeans. I'd be all over them if they were my size. But the real point of my comment is for you to indicate what size you are NOW so that potential swappers can see if they have anything for you!

San, my closet is so small, that I have to keep a close eye on it so it doesn't get out of hand. I am becoming a mini Kendall Farr in terms of managing my closet.

Ooh, I might be interested in them. I've never worn 7s though. Is the fit the same as COH? I wear a 29 in those.

What size are you? I'll have to go through my stuff to see if there's anything you might want to swap.

Ana, I added the size in the original post - last paragraph. I don't know the fit of COH, but I would guess it would be similar.

Ana, I wear a 29 or 30 in 7FAM, so these might be too big for you, but you could always have them taken in.

after5, where did you find your Levis? They look great on you!
If you swap for the jeans Ana, and they don't work, I'd try them and swap something in exchange.

Sarah, after I posted last night, I was actually thinking they might be a better style and fit for you. See if there this anything you have that Danja wants to swap with you for, and if not I'll see if there is anything I have that she wants, and we can work a swap or whatever once the jeans get here. I also have a couple of things I wanted to give you anyway (if you like them). How does that sound?

That sounds great, Ana. I'm not sure how many smaller tops I have. I'm quite busty so most of my tops wouldn't work for Danja. But you and I can swap if needed.
I do have a size 6 JCrew top that's sleeveless, and too small across the chest for me. It's silver with white polka dots. I also have some red Coach shoes (never worn other than in the house) in a size 7.5 and a seafoam green Banana Republic bag (never used). It's lovely, but it's only 10X7 which is way too small for me.

Thanks for getting me the info on the Levis, they're lovely! I'm hosting my husband's four younger brothers and sisters this weekend, and will be tied up.

Ladies, I am sure we can work something out because I think our style lines run in parallel.

Sarah, we can try a video chat next week if we need to. Seafoam bag??? I am so intrigued. JCrew top? Addicted to anything JCrew. The shoes won't work for me because I am a 9, but I love shoes so much that it kills me.
