Before today, I had never returned an item of clothing for poor fit. Sent those too small belts back to Nordstrom in less than 24 hours, thanks to YLFers modeling good shopping behavior. Honestly, I had no idea real people did that. Regularly, apparently, and the retailers expect it. Whoa.
I have only been a member for 3 weeks and already you guys are making a difference. Since then I've inventoried the closet, made a plan and a shopping list, had a long-overdue haircut, refreshed a couple of basics, found three jackets to form the core of my style direction and bit of retro costume jewelry.
In a couple of months I'll be able to shop for shoes (I found YFL right after foot surgery) and have a few WIW to share. For now, it's probably good that I can't shop too much, as my style ideas get more refined reading every new post. Great stuff, thanks!
