Ok I just made an executive decision to have the Austin meet up on Saturday, April 27th 12pm at the Domain.
Can a local recommend one of their restaurants for lunch? I love wine and don't eat red meat.

It would probably be easier to pick something at the Domain. The one IK set up last year was good. I don't remember the name or if they sell wine. Hopefully IK will chime in soon.

The restaurant was called North, it's Italian.

Cru is a wine bar at the Domain and also serves food. I like the wine flights there. They take reservations.

I think Cru is the kind of wine bar that you can bring a kid to; it's got a lot of food....Never been there. Anna, why don't you check out both menus and see what you think since you are traveling the farthest!

Hi Anna! Sure I'd love to come and meet you and see everyone. I think it would be fun.

Isis is right, North and Cru have similar atmospheres. Everything in Austin is so casual that bringing a child isn't really a big deal. Cru isn't like a "bar" bar. They have food and diners sit at tables. They just specialize in wine and also sell it retail. I think either would be fine, but I'll leave it up to y'all. Just name the place, I'll be there.

Ana is right, you can bring your kid anywhere in Austin. Besides, I took Mazie to bars when she was still in a Snugli. Pick a place, it's all good.

Ok why don't we meet at Cru at 12pm on Saturday. Because wine flights! Though it is an adjustment to see east coast seafood options. The best mussels are from Penn Cove in Puget Sound.
I'll make a reservation tomorrow. Looking at the weather forecast it looks to be a nice day.

Arrived last night. I think I brought the Seattle weather with me. Hope the weather forecast is right and it warms up. I brought three pairs of sandals and I want to wear them dagnabbit.

ETA Also don't let me buy any shorts. I have plenty to get me through our short Seattle summers.
