Yay! I'm so uber excited too about our catch up too. I can't believe it is only one more sleep.

I can't wait to meet you all and help you spend your money on gorgeous clothes and accessories! (<Tee-hee!> I think I will have to live vicariously through you all, because I just received my credit card statement and am currently picking myself up from off the floor.)

I think the shops are open somewhere between 4 and 5pm in the city on a Saturday - I think it really depends on the store, so that should fit in well with your flight plans.

At the moment it is very grey and drizzly and I am comfortably wearing jeans.

Looking forward to it. Shame the weather is so terrible at the moment, but we can console ourselves with spring clothes and dream of days in the sun.

I'm just about to try and sleep now....setting alarm for 5am =ouch!!!! Will be worth it though!!! And hopefully I'll catch some zzzz on the plane too.

How far is brissie from airport? My flight back home leaves at 6, so I need to be there by 5:30pm. Similar to you theresa, but a little earlier!

ok must go set alarm, and work out what to wear tomorrow. im thinking dress + leggings that can be removed in case i get too warm. 23 degrees still sounds very warm to me here in 14 degree melbourne!!!! it hit 20 degrees the other day here and felt positively tropical!!!!

This is going to be the most well documented YLF gathering of all time

It. Was. FAB! But more on that later!!! ;-P

Well, I've just got home from spending a lovely, lovely afternoon with the YLF Aussies. It was fascinating to see everyone in 3D after all this time of internet communication!

Tara was taller than I was expecting; Puffenstuff was really petite; Theresa and I are the same height (go figure!); Sharon is beautifully coiffed and shapely; and Tam is glowingly beautiful (particularly admirable considering she was incredibly sleep deprived).

I can unequivocally say that the ladies are just as delightful in person as they are on the forum. We even made some casual remarks about planning a get together for next year, so I guess that's a sign that the day was a success!

[And an extra little message for those who attended today - Just wanted to say that it was an absolute pleasure to finally meet you in person and spend some time with you. Thanks for giving me an opportunity to actually shop without constant distraction from small children! :-)]

Good Morning Ladies!!!

Can I just say that Tam & I stopped by the airport bar for a little *beverage* before we flew home - fabulous end to the day LOL

I feel like I'm only just surfacing here!!! It was almost 10pm last night when I got home (by the time I flew in, picked up kids, then drove home) and I slept very well indeed - I did not want to get up this morning - but I did, and have just sorted everyone out and managed to get near the laptop.

But, just to confirm, we had a BALL, everyone is just so fabulous - even more fabulous in person!!

I've just shown my girls my haul, and they loved everything, but were disappointed I didn't buy more LOL

I'm about to sort photo's and will be in touch with Angie soon about the write up!! (Once I've woken up a little more, and cleaned my house!).

Oh and on the flight home, I was sitting next to a very handsome, very intelligent, very nice Dr from our local hospital - we had a great chat, and he was completely bemused by the fact that I would seriously fly to Brisbane for the day purely to meet friends and go shopping!

Ladies it was a pleasure to meet you all. Had such a lovely day. Sure was wrecked by the end of it though. Thank goodness for coffee and cake hey - that helped perked me up. Can't wait to do it again sometime!!!

Woo good one Theresa!! I had a fantastic day as well and was lovely to finally meet everyone - although I felt like I already knew everybody so well. When KP showed me a pair of white clams that she was trying on and told me that they had white jeans as well that would go with my silk top I had to stop and remember how she knew what I had in my wardrobe!

There were certainly some bargains snapped up as well, but I'll leave all the gritty details for the write-up.
