Today I bought two pairs of the softest, most comfortable skinny jeans I've tried on. They're *almost* jeggings, but have just enough structure to be proper pants, and are made from actual denim not just a denim lookalike.

I'd seen them at the front of the Just Jeans store, and walked past them with a shudder thinking that there was no way I'd get into something so skinny. But when I was trying on 'real' jeans, the girl brought me a pair without telling me what they were, and when I touched them I fell in love with how soft they are.

They have a mid-rise, which keeps my tummy reasonably tucked in. The sizing was a bit odd - I actually had to go up a size to stop them from being all bunchy on my thighs (what the...?). They're stretchy and come in black, dark blue and a mid-grey colour. I got the blue and grey and the salesgirl reckons I'll be back for the black soon Apparently all the girls who work there have bought at least 2 pairs each.

They're about $70, which is standard for Just Jeans, so I guess they'll go on sale at the usual times and with the usual 2-for-1 deals when they're not such a brand-new style.

I'll post pictures on the weekend, because I got a whole bunch of purchases today that I want to run by YLF, but I couldn't keep this to myself and had to share now.
