Sal, I loved the Victoria and Albert Museum, because of its design focus. Unfortunately the fashion wing was closed for renovation We still went 3 times. And 4 times to the Science Museum. So much to see and do. And I loved having a cooked breakfast outside every day. It felt so decadent.

Slim cat, all blue is rare for me. I am warming to blue. I love it with green.

Angie, I was prepared for cooler weather but the daily variability was a surprise. Meantime many people were wearing shorts and tee, or a sundress, at breakfast at 14C. Made of sterner stuff. I can handle feeling cool when I’m walking around (in fact I prefer it) but when sitting down to a meal I enjoy my creature comforts. Yay for team pack as much as you can

I think you look amazing in all blue outfit with your signature gold jewelry ( truthfully you look amazing in every color that you decide to make yours - it's your super power ).

How wonderful to have a summer holiday in our winter. Those temps are verging on cold to me! You look sensational and it shows how cohesive your wardrobe is. I'm sure the cafe owner misses your daily style. I went to the UK 12 years ago in June and threw into my suitcase a trench coat at the last minute - it ended up being the most worn topper - I was thinking at the time "I must be mad to take a coat in Summer, there is no way I'll need this..." only to be very happy to have the coat.

I bet Sienna was very happy to welcome you home.

Oh, how nice to have that trip! I hope there are no further concerns for you and your husband’s health.

Your outfit formula is so good. I hear you about it being cooler than anticipated — I bought a wool cardigan on my first trip to the UK 35 years ago because I had packed for “August” weather and not necessarily UK weather. But you adapted beautifully. I love the jeans outfits!

Brooklyn, thank you for explaining more about your dark/light balance strategy in outfit creation! I see what you mean and this is very helpful information. My wheels are turning!

I missed you too, Brooklyn! So glad to see your post.

You are my fashion inspiration every time! I love aaalll the colors and Team Pack More. Superb and beautiful.

So sorry about your health challenges, and your husband’s illness. Prayers for vibrant health going forward <3

I love this sentence: "I didn't pack light." It sounds like the beginning of a story, and I guess in a way, it is. I grew up in that frost in the morning, sweat at noon kind of climate, so I am used to it. But when you are young, it is less about finding the appropriate clothes as toughing it out without a jacket.

I like your wide-leg jeans very much. Most of the ones today I see in catalogs I don't like, because they seem to be about crumpled fabric swallowing the body. But I like yours because they seem to work with the shape of your body.

Congratulations on recovering from your health issue!
