Look at all these great ideas!
Elizabeth and Suz...I figured August might be your favorite month! That's a great challenge to amp up the home wear. I really focused on that in April and May, and I'm so happy with the results (especially with the UPS man coming daily!) that I've continued without really having to think about it anymore.
Welcome to Atlanta, Sterling! Casually professional sounds perfect for a conference. I imagine you'll also get a very good comfort test on the things you bring.
Aquamarine...5 pounds is my perennial challenge! Also on the books for August.
Donna, I think that's a great challenge. I'm pretty sure that some element of that will be included in my August as well.
Belladogga, including the ensembles is a great idea! I may incorporate that as well.
cjh, some GREAT thoughts there. I'll give some thought to what might work for me.
Susie...too funny! I DO need casual pieces (shorts and non-tee knit tops) next year. I'll remind you if you remind me:-)
Laura, I also like the idea of trying to wear everything. I wish I could bring myself to do a "pull from the left, return to the right" process, but my closet organization OCD just will not allow that. I tried the "turn the hanger backwards once" and darned near started to twitch. I had to put everything the "right" way the very next day;-).
Angie, so glad you're set to enjoy a warm August! I LOVE your additional mini-challenges. I think I can include each of those in my month!
Kathleen, I don't do dresses and skirts either. Maybe evaluating several different silhouettes would be a fun place to start as you figure out what suits you. I think ElizabethP and Alaskagirl both did personal silhouette challenges earlier this year. You might search their posts for thoughts on what they got out of it. Also, taking a WIW picture EVERYDAY and posting at least weekly is a fantastic motivator to amp your style!
