If you WERE going to participate in NAS - what is one item that you are certain that you would buy?

For me, it would be a handbag. I don't know what kind - I've completely stayed away from looking at the catalogue or going on line - but I know it would be a handbag - its been a tradition in my life as a shopper for many years to always treat myself to one handbag at NAS. Sob!

(I don't know if talking/writing about it is making it worse or better, but it feels kind of therapeutic for me tonight to at least put that out there to my YLF forum girlfriends!)

Boots! I love love love love boots and there are some beautiful boots available in the US of A that I cannot get on this northern side of the border

NAS sounds so good and I've enjoyed looking at all the things people are getting but I can't participate as I'm in NZ. If I could participate I would be looking for shoes. I want some interesting shoes rather than all the basic pairs I currently have. Stay strong Marley, you can resist NAS : )

I spent all my money elswhere...but I would get the Halogen skirt in green... they don't come in my size anyway...already checked:(

Oh tough call, I would say a bag or boots, maybe a watch, due to the watch talk...I have to agree with lyn that there are some great boots that are tough to find in Canada. That Halogen skirt seems like a big fav too though... did you say one top pick???

I"d be checking out those gorgeous Frye lace back boots. But honestly, a week ago I was almost hyperventilating at the thought of NAS.. now I've seemed to calm myself down and while I'm enjoying seeing everyone's fab finds, I'm content to wait until fall is in the air to start my fall shopping.
I'll probably be singing a different tune come Friday morning though...... and the glass of wine sitting here beside me is probably keeping me somewhat calm.. LOL

A leather jacket. I saw one or two on others' posts already that made my heart pitter patter. I have needed one for several years now. Someday . . .
In the meanwhile I have been trying to avoid the onslaught of NAS posts here and sipping my merlot happily!

The NAS threads have actually helped me... I feel almost like I have gone out shopping with the other ladies and had the opportunity to see all the pretty wares - and something about seeing them so perfectly styled on other people makes things seem like they are "not for me."

I may sing a different tune when Angie's picks come out on Friday. O_O

I'm waiting until late Thursday night to say for sure, there's so much that we haven't seen yet!

However, the Trouve Shrunken Blazer is torturing me. http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/tr.....er/3155860 It's not perfect for me; I can't wear wool most of the year where I live, and I don't want to have black right by my face. Even if I was shopping NAS it would be torturing me because it's SO GOOD, but just not perfect for me.

Freckles - I think that it depends on the boots and where you live. I live in Northern Ontaio and I could wear the boots fo small trips outside but not for foot saving warmth. We get such a long season for boots here though, really almost 12 months of boot wearing options.

My husband is always reminding me when I dither about wearing something not warm enough about the car breaking down and freezing my little toes off...
