I should have known, they were too cheap, even for used jeans. Plus the seller charged me $11.25 for shipping but shipped the item for $6.95, which is kind of dishonest.

I contacted her and asked if there were any flaws. This was before bidding. She said no. However there is a tear of about 3 inches on the inside of the front zipper. Plus there are clumps of threads inside one of the pockets, and unintentional fraying around a belt loop. The belt loops in general look off. I pulled out all my other 7 for All Mankinds and did a careful comparison. All the rivets and zippers have the right logos and the tags look OK but there is just something about the feel of the fabric, the stitching, the construction etc. that isn't right. My mother who sews said the workmanship around the zipper is poor. The condition of the fabric is still new and unwashed, so the flaws do not indicate normal wear to me, they indicate poor construction. Oh yes and there is also a stain on the garment although that may wash out.

Any advice? I really don't know for certain if these are fakes but my spidey sense tells me they could be. I checked the web for "how to detect fakes" articles and the belt loops in particular are a red flag.
