What kind of clothing/accessories do you keep at work?

I have 2 suit jackets, 2 sweaters, 1 pair of booties, 3 pair of sandals, 3 pairs of loafers, 3 pairs of pumps. I also keep 2 umbrellas, a briefcase, a pair of specs, a full makeup kit, perfume, a lint brush, shoe polish, and probably 15 pairs of earrings. It seems like a lot of the shoes get brought to work for a particular outfit and then never make it home again.

I frequently get midday manicures and pedicures. My staff knows that they can always find a spare umbrella in my office if they have to leave in a downpour.

I've been known to have T shirts and shorts as well, but not currently. This was because I was going to physical therapy during the work day.

Oh, and I keep gardening gloves at work. Mostly because the office plants were really pathetic when I got here. And now they are not. I guess my mother's green thumb rubbed off on me...

Because, I bike to work and tend to wear some of work clothes while bicycling, I leave a few items at work: 1 black cardigan, 1 white blazer, lots of shoes under my desk, hair brush, deodorant.

Hahaha I'm picturing a full wardrobe in your office :).
I used to keep only a blanket scarf at the office. Now nothing, a clean desk policy and limited cupboard space will do that. Have no need actually either. They're offering yoga classes at lunch break but I would not keep worn gym clothes there...

Just a lint roller at each office!
My rolling office (car) is another matter....

Gym bag inc 1 set gear + walking sandals-refreshed daily
Pool bag- if I think I may get to one
Bike helmet if I bring bike
Miscellaneous toppers depending on weather
Extra tights in cold weather
Sunnies, glasses
Small makeup kit, hair brush also live in the car
Eta-in winter a hat and lovely selection of gloves too! The ones not stuffed in various coat pockets that is.

I never wanted to keep clothes and shoes at work, because I needed them for other activities and appointments as well--places where I would go in the weekend or not straight after work. Generally, I want to be able to see practically all my items when I plan my outfits at home. So whenever I had plans of going out straight after work, I took this into consideration before leaving home in the morning and would bring the items I needed for that specific day and evening/night.

Nowadays, I work and live in the same building, so I can easily go home and get things I need. However, at my office I keep a little makeup, a few toiletries, allergy medicine and hand cream. If I had to work elsewhere, I would also want to keep the following items at hand: hair brush, clear nail polish, one or two pairs of tights, a little sewing kit, a lint roller, perfume, extra reading glasses, and an umbrella.

i'm rarely in my office. wfh or on the road.

currently, the only clothing/shoes at work are the ones i've had shipped there prior to bringing them home.

i have some expired foundation and skanky lippies that i need to through out. i do keep a few $20s in my drawer as i frequently forget my wallet at home.

i would so like to work for you--i'm down with noontime mani/pedi's with my boss. men have the golf course...

I don't keep a lot in the office as I'm not there as consistently as I used to be. But I do always have a pashmina or warm wrap, a pair of nylons, an extra pair of earrings. Emergency kit with deodorant, sewing kit, medicine, and clear nail polish.

I also try to keep a standard set of things in my car: flats/sneakers, fleece jacket and sweats, backup medicines, water and emergency blanket.

Oh interesting. I’ve always been a contractor, long-term projects, but still reluctant to keep things at work. Now in my car, I had a jacket, toiletries, shoes and a hat...

Ahem. I commute in flats. So my work shoe situation got so out of hand that my DH made me shelves for under my desk. People are always very surprised if they have reason to come this side of the office....

Other than this, I only have one black poncho, for cold days. I do also keep a brush, lip gloss and hand cream in a drawer.

umbrella of course...the key here is to remember to bring it back into the office after using...
2 or 3 large cashmere/alpaca scrarfs...'cuase the temperature year round is cold
in the spring/summer i useally have a denim jacket, mostly because i may have worn it in and the forget it at the end of the day...
other than that, notthing...

My office is a 15 second commute to our master walk-in, so just a cashmere wrap

Oh, and 100% of my winter outerwear which resides in my office closet.

Wow, you need a closet there! I have a black wrap for chilly office temps and some spare tennis shoes for the occasional lunchtime walk. Other than that just stuff like hand lotion and baby powder for sticky feet.

Clearly I am a little crazy... that's what my guy said when I told him how many pairs of shoes I had at work.

Well, we don’t have any storage space under our desks in my office. None. Everyone of us has a locker like in schools only smaller. And we put in there everything from a desk at the end of each day. A clean desk policy! Not just clean but empty. So, the space in the locker is extremely limited. I keep an umbrella, a lint brush and a scarf. In the winter months I remove a scarf since I would wear one under a coat and add two pairs of shoes which I change for another two pairs after a few days.

I keep a navy blazer at work so if I get cold which is more often in summer, I can pop it on and still look professional. I get it dry cleaned every so often to keep it fresh.

I am very impressed by your green thumb, the only plants that seem to survive with me are succulents.

I am now so happy that we don't have a clean desk policy at work. My boss would laugh - where would she put her Magic 8 ball and Bert and Ernie figures? I keep three cardigans that will match any outfit, an alpaca blanket, several pairs of shoes that I don't want to walk to work in, and at least one umbrella. Lint roller, fashion tape, safety pins, shoe brush, pocket shoe shine, and static guard in a drawer.
