Years ago, my wardrobe was made up of a myriad of pieces I loved (adored), but pieces that didn't suit my real-life style or needs. Most were aspirational purchases. I loved them all, but I frequently never had anything to wear in real life. I honestly did not understand what the problem was.

With the help of YLF and Forum Members I ceased making aspirational purchases all together. That was huge for me!!! IF there was one single thing I am grateful to YLF and Forum Members is the lesson to buy for my real life.

So, this said, I made an aspirational purchase this month. I fell in love. I touched it. It whispered my name. It came home with me and it sits proudly in my closet.

Why is this aspirational? Well, I imagine myself trail running on cold, crisp weekend mornings. I even went so far as to check weather forecasts for the Southeast for winter 2015-2016. Colder then average, yay!!

Still, the jacket is really warm. And I don't run.

There is no talking me out of this because it is love. I am not certain I even consider this to be a wardrobe item.....much more of a trophy or a symbol. A symbol of what could be on cold, crisp weekend mornings.
