ASOS sizing

I am considering a dress from ASOS. I am an Australian 8 or 10 usually but according to my measurements and the sizing chart, a 12 would be closest to my size.

Any comments on sizing?

I've only purchased one item from ASOS (also a dress) and based on that I'd go with their sizing chart, even if it is a bigger size than you normally wear. My dress ran really small.

I rely on their sizing charts, and that normally works just fine.

They carry a lot of different brands but I know to me in general when I order a UK size they seem to run a bit smaller. A UK 8 doesn't always seems like a US 4 even though according to the size chart it is.

If it's ASOS own brand, they do run a little small.

Thanks everyone (the chart was in Australian sizes BTW) I think in the end I won't get it although it really appeals to me

It is probably a bit short, possibly a bit pale and the waist may well be too high on my long waist and even if not, fitted waists are hard in out hot summer.
