I think it is a creeping trend. Aerie doesn't photoshop its models (though they are young and beautiful, there is one not-skinny woman), and Athleta is starting to show a bigger variety of skin tones and sizes and even ages. Title Nine has always used "real women" though they are super fit! I think this is a smart strategy--more and more, I want to imagine items on *me*, and I'm more likely to buy if the outfit looks like a semi-real life possibility. Thanks for posting!
