Ask MNSara: Hinge denim jacket

Sara, do you have any pics where you're wearing the Hinge denim jacket that's in the store? I am trying to get an idea of whether or not it is cropped enough for me. According to Nordstrom's measurements, it is 19" from the shoulder. Is that accurate?

I am not Sara but I ordered this and almost kept it . It is very cute, not very fitted. This picture might give you an idea about how cropped it is:

Yes Maya, ridiculously so- I am embarrassed to tell you how many I own. I keep finding more at thrift stores. I did consign boxy Gap ones this year that I had been holding on to. I would say that jacket would not be cropped enough for you.

Hi, Maya -
Sorry I've been gone all day -- chasing my daughter & her roomate's stolen purses and cell phones (with a little help from the police and the GPS locator on her phone) That may turn into an OT thread just to vent!

Anyway, I measured my Small. It is 18 inches from the seam where the collar attaches to the body down to the bottom hem edge. I have some pics, but I was deliberating S vs M and don't know which size is in the pics.

If you haven't written off this jacket, I will take some pics in daylight tomorrow morning and post them. I am 5'5", a bit short waisted, but long in the rise. Mine ends just at the slimmest part of my waist and just below that (it is about 2.5 inches for the bottom waistband on the jacket).

Hope that helps some. And I will look into the pics in the a.m.

Jean, this is helpful information since Maya and I are the same height and I was eyeing that jacket as well. Although Maya has long legs and I don't, which must mean that more of my height is in my torso. Hmmm...
