First of all, I have to say thank you, because I have successfully uploaded an image to a thread from my iPad!

However, I have noticed that after I do this once, the next time I go to upload an image, even if it is a whole new thread, the upload shows up as the previously uploaded image. For example, I just posted a read in style exchange for a pair of Franco Sarto shoes, and the image successfully posted. However, when I went to post another item available -- a pair of pants -- I attempted to upload the next photo (of the pants), but instead, the last photo I'd uploaded, the one of the shoes, shows up.

Not sure why this would be. I even tried restarting my iPad in case it was something glitchy to do with the Photos app, but it still happened.

Below, as a test, I've uploaded three random photos from my iPad, but they all show up as my last uploaded image. CORRECTION: actually, they're not showing up at all.

Just thought you would like to know.

I think Rae (Raisin) has had this problem too. My iPad won't upload photos at all, even though I have the same settings on it as my iPhone, which lets me upload images fine.

It's a mystery!

I haven't been able to reproduce iPad image upload problems in the past, but here goes...

If you are having this problem, please go to the iPad settings screen and check what version of iOS it is running. Then please let me know here.

Mine is 6.0.1 but I see there is an update available, which I will try next.

Also, trying another picture... Hmmm still that same one.

Greg, I was having the same problem as Janet. I recently installed the update to my iPad and just gave it a test. Solved! I am now running on iOS 6.1.2

Greg, I have the same problem! Even if I delete the previous pic from my photo roll, it's still the pic that gets uploaded?

I'm about to update to 6.1.2. I will try to that today and report back.

What a pretty girl! Yes, mine is definitely working, too. I just started a thread over on the main forum and posted four pictures from my iPad.

Yup I have the EXACT same problem. But I only updated my iPad today, so I will check later to see if the problem persists with the update.

ETA trying some images out here

Seems to be fixed! Sorry, the second photo is my sons game...it's all I had for some reason.....lol!

Does the ipad have to have a camera in order to upload photos? Mine is an original ipad.

pil, I don't think so. We have an original iPad too and I just tried to use it to upload a photo without success. Upgrading to iOS 6 doesn't seem to be an option on the iPad 1, and that's the version you need to upload photos.
