Since you are already a Mac user, there probably isn't any good reason to move to a PC.
Which laptop depends on what you do. If there is no heavy lifting like programming or video editing, and you want it to be light and portable, then the 13" MacBook Air is nice. We just bought one of these for Angie.
The 11" Air is very cute, but it lacks performance and Angie found its screen too small.
99% of the time Angie uses it as a desktop computer with a separate display, mouse and keyboard. We upgraded the memory to 4GB. The model we bought only has 128GB of storage, which is something to consider if you have a ton of digital music and photos -- you'll need somewhere else to store those.
If you want a lot more storage and a more powerful machine overall, then the MacBook Pro is the best bet. This will probably also save you a couple hundred dollars. I use a 15" MBP. We also have a Mac Mini as our music and picture server.
