Ask everyone: Paige Hidden Hills - TTS?

I know there are a lot of you out there who wear Paige Hidden Hills. Do they run true to size? I usually wear a 27/4P (in JCrew jeans, etc), and ordered that size in the Paige, but am wondering if I should order up or down "just in case", as well.

I would order them one size up as well: some models can run small.

For the Hidden Hills bootcuts, I had to size down.

I tried them on and found they felt smaller than the Hidden Hills bootcuts I own in the same size. So if you are inclined to order two pair to try, I'd make the second one a size up.

I've only had one experience with Paige HH, and my usual size was so small I couldn't get them above my thighs.

Now, I had bought them from a discount site (like SmartBargains) so they may have been a strange batch.

I'm usually either a 2 or a 4, and I got the 27.

As a scientist you noticed that some washes are 31 inch inseam and some 32, right?

I don't actually own Paige HH jeans, but my experience was the same as April's - I am a 29-30 and the 29 would not go over my thighs and hips; I could do the 30s up but they were tight in the hip/thigh and gaping in the waist. Paiges have a reputation for not being very pear friendly. I suspect if you have narrow hips/thighs you would probably be able to fit your normal size.

Re Diana - the Hidden Hills are actually one of the few jeans I've found that don't gape at the waist if they fit the hips and thighs.

CF, I have a 13 inch differential between my hips and my natural waist; since the HH is a slightly higher rise, this becomes even more of a problem. Plus I'd have to go 2 sizes up to get a good fit in the hips, and I think I am a true 29 (which I couldn't get over my thighs) in the waist. It's interesting how everyone's body shape is so different!

I would try a size up. I usually wear a 29 in jeans but find that Paige's almost always fit me better in a 30 to accommodate my thighs. I could stand to have the waists taken in a little at that size, but not as much as brands like JBrand and Rich and Skinny.

I love Hidden Hills but have found that the sizing can vary depending on which wash you order...and also whether they are straight/skinny or bootcut. In the bootcut HH Dusk wash I am a 27, but my white HH bootcuts are 28. My Paige Skyline straight legs are size 28. Since the sizing varies slightly, in my experience, I ordered one pair of 27 and one 28 in the NAS Hidden Hills just to be safe.

Sizing issues aside, these are my absolute favorite jeans EVER! They fit perfectly with no stretching or gaping at the waist. Worth every penny.

I find J Crew pants run a little bigger than premium denim brands. I would order a size up as well. Wear them around the house for an hour or two to see how much they stretch. Do that with both pairs and then make up your mind. I can never go down a size in Paige. HH are great for those of us with some curves. The waist is higher with little to no gap and there is material sewn into the waistband so it will not stretch out like other brands. I am consistently a 25 in Paige and with a thicker denim, there will be less stretching. Remember not to put these jeans in the dryer and wash them inside out in cold water to preserve the dark blue color.
