Ask Angie: your opinion on these jeans?

I tried them on in Zara and liked them and a few of the forum members liked them too But before, I take the floral jeans plunge, I would love to know what you think of these - fit and pattern wise.

unfortunately, its not my favorite. While I am ok with some patterns, I don't care for this one at all. As for fit-I think the fit is ok but I don't think it compliments your shape. I think that maybe you need straighter leg jeans or bootcuts?

Kirti's they are cute, however I don't particularly like this pattern and color combination. I feel patterns like this can add to our frame so I would tend to opt for something with some darker shades as the more dominant color. And maybe a slightly smaller floral.

Maybe take a look at GP's and Anna's floral pants.

Having said that, seeing them properly styled in an outfit might change my mind about them

FWIW, I love these jeans on you Kirti, (and would wear them myself). I love loud and bright clothing! They are a fun, trendy item that will compliment your flat footwear and casual commuting lifestyle. Add a white top and denim jacket and you are good to go

Kirti: I love the print, it reminds me of the skirts my mom made in the 70's (a good retro memory, not a bad 70's fashion moment). Now, I'd probably stick to a skirt version for myself, but I can see these working into your wardrobe and your style goals, and the fit is great. The most important question is how do YOU feel in them. If it makes you feel happy and bold, then you can "work" them with great results. If you question your choice, you'll never feel fab even if you look it. I guess I'm saying you need to "feel" the flowers in your heart before you plant 'em on your butt!

Tbh, I fell in love with them the second I tried them on, which is weird because I have never liked florals. I guess the large splashes of colour and graphic print are more 'me' than dark colours and tiny prints? To each her own, I guess thank you all for your comments, I know these are a little out there so it is interesting to see what everyone thinks.

I just saw these yesterday in the store and was THIS close to trying them on because I love the pattern and colors. But then I was brought back down to earth and realised that I probably would never wear these if I bought them so I didn't try them on. But the fit on you is great and you wear bright things so well, you have to keep them! Then I'll be able to admire them on you.
